I have been in love with art since I canremember picking up my first crayon (how I loved my first box of 64!). As a young artist I developed an interest in drawing people and in portraiture. After college that interest evolved into a career in illustration but it also led to a simultaneous career in fine art, creating of a body of work featuring paintings and drawings of local characters and dancers in the mediums of oil and oil pastel.In my portraits I am looking to convey the essence of the individual, their spirit and personality. I also wish to provide clients with affordable portraits done in a loose and spontaneous, yet realistic style.
